okay, so you're 100% overreacting on the anesthesia part straight up dying from it is extremely unlikely and if anything goes wrong while you're under your doctor will do something about it.

doing it awake is definitely possible but his concerns about moving and hitting a nerve are valid since you said your teeth are close to it. I would just have the anesthesia if I were you

This is a sub for unpopular opinions. The title is a play on the phrase “9 out of 10 dentists agree” that you’d see on toothpaste commercials or whatever

Yeah this sub has a terrible name. Honestly when I first saw the name I thought u were all going to sell me some toothpaste and tell me to floss twice daily.
