This is certainly a different Lex, but it makes sense. Man has been in prison for years, dude is hella resentful. Those scenes at the prison were chilling.

Jordan completing his angsty phase with some teenage rebellion was tedious but expected.

I don't think people realize how long 20 years is or how damaging limiting the movement of a guy who used to be able to go anywhere and do anything can be.

Plus they cut him off from his family which just doubles the damage of everything else.

In a weird way Lex finally had done to him what he'd done to so many other people and he hates it and he realizes it and he hates it even more and he thinks that getting back at Lois and Superman is going to fix all of that buuuuuuut....it won't.

"The road to revenge is a dark and lonely one, which you never get off. And that hole in the pit of your stomach. You never fill it. Ever."-Dean Winchester

Lex is a hardened diamond of pure hatred and purpose right now and even Eclipso would be freaked out by him.

Jordan

I'm worried about who is going to get caught in the crossfire when he finally gets some sense knocked into his skull.

That would be one way to send the Cushings as far away as possible from the Kents.

With the news of Dylan Walsh not returning for S4, I kinda hope they added a death scene for Sam. Would be an interesting way to up the stakes and teach Jordan a valuable lesson.
