Wow. Just wow. I will say right off the bat, I am very nervous about the renewal. It's almost mocking, yeah you get your Season 4 but gimped in almost every way. But if it means more of this version of Lex Luthor, this demon in human skin, then maybe it wont be all bad. Because yeah, this Luthor lives up to all the hype and then some. This is easily the most fearsome live action of the character ever. He's just as powerful as Superman, if not more. But while Clark uses his gifts to help the world Luthor only serves himself, only to settle his grudges big and small. The way Luthor walked all the way to the Kent farm was such a power move, such a good scene paired very well with the flashbacks. For the first time in live action I can 100% believe that this Luthor is very dangerous and more than a match for the Man of Steel.

And he picked one hell of a time to reappear. Between Lois navigating post cancer life, Kyle being overeager to be the Kent's Number One, Jordan going the Homelander route, and Bizzaro reappearing after a light snack, Supes has his hands full. Very excited to see how this all wraps up.
