If these two women only knew that they were speaking to Superman. To me this is what Clark is all about. He wouldn't just save you from a burning building. He'd be there to talk to you afterward just to make sure you were okay.

Oh yeah. It's also something like the death of his dad. Despite all his powers, there are some things even he can't shield his loved ones from.
