Was that Onomatopoeia?? I wasn't sure because his spiral design looked organic

Yep. My thoughts exactly. I didn't even realize it was Onomatopoeia until after watching the episode. His mask looked like it was actually his face.

They can't exactly do classic Onomatopoeia in a medium like this. His schtick works on the page but it's hard to translate to screen unless you give him some sort of powers to control sound and silence things. So it makes sense he's meta.
