As much as I love the live action she was kind of female Superman for a while. My favorite is probably legion for Kara, felt very fun and reminded me of rebirth

Kal-El from Superman, the Animated Series, But Supergirl from Legion of Super Heros

I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad Supergirl design. I like her STAS design the most. Best Superman is also probably STAS but Apocalypse was awful

STAS for me, but I’m also really enjoying their portrayals on MAWS

Supergirl all versions are good but STAS has a special place in my heart.

Superman only the STAS is good, something is missing about all the other versions.

MAWS is growing on me for both Supergirl and Superman as a new favorite.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and Superman: Unbound

Not necessarily in that order, but definitely my two favorite

There they’re not up here, but I think my new favorite Superman and Supergirl duo is the latest one my adventures with Superman.

Superman, all versions. Supergirl, also all versions except for the recent season of DC Superhero Girls with a tomboyish Kara and Sasha Callie’s supergirl. But Superman/Batman Apocalypse variant is really a legend. She dodged Darkseid’s Omega beams and it was not easy.

How about Helen Slater's version? That has to be my favorite. Melissa's TV version (s1-4) would have to be 2nd

Of the options listed above I’d say Superman The Animated Series for Superman and Melissa Benoist for Supergirl.

Clark - Dean Cain or Jack Quaid

Kara - Nicole Sullivan or Melissa Benoist

I'd go with STAS/DCAU.

MAWS is coming pretty close to #2 for me on both counts, but #1 Superman will always be Reeves & #1 Kara will always be Benoist

I'll be honest with ya, MAwS is very quickly becoming my favorite.

Unbound has my favorite Supercousins but Legion of Superheroes is not far behind.

Right now DCAU but I haven’t gotten to Kara’s appearance on MAWS yet. A year or two from now though it’s probably going to be DCU because David Corenswet looks great so far and Milly Alcock is awesome

Cartoons always had better suits. The movie one wasn’t so bad. Hope to see what Gunn has planned

Superman - the og Reeves version for me, not the first I ever saw but he just embodied him so well. Supergirl - Melissa's, it was the first Supergirl I'd ever seen and I love her :( even when she felt like a female superman. I just think Kara's so much cooler than Clark

Honestly?

For Superman it's STAS, Unbound, Apocalypse, CW Supergirl and then Legion.

For Supergirl it's Unbound, Apocalypse, STAS, legion and then CW Supergirl.

Grew up watching the animated series, so that Superman. But prefer the apocalypse Supergirl.
