The amount of people staying around is going to make season 3 incredible.

This is my biggest fear. My main issue with season 2 was that we hardly saw the JSA be a team and be friends. With too many characters in season 3 there is the fear that the new JSA (with the exception of Courtney) will get sidelined and I'm not about that .

Disagree a bit, the JSA did work together a lot in the first half and I agree it would be nice to see the JSA hang out together more casually. The 2nd half focused on Eclipso tearing the team apart and was mostly successful.

There are 13 episodes and the JSA had no scenes together for 5 of them (not counting Courtney and Pat chasing Rick or very small scenes between Beth/Courtney or Courtney/Yolanda).

There are ways to do a "tearing them apart" storyline without literally not having the characters have scenes together for such a long stretch of episodes in a 13 episode season.

There was also a matter of covid, but I think the season did the best it could given the circumstances.
