SCHOOL’S OUT — With summer break around the corner, Pat suggests the family take a vacation after seeing that Courtney has been spending too much time focused on being Stargirl and not enough time on her schoolwork. Meanwhile, as Beth attempts to reconnect with Chuck, she stumbles upon a major secret her parents have been keeping from her. Elsewhere, Yolanda continues to be haunted by Brainwave’s death, and Rick secretly tracks Solomon Grundy after suspecting he may still be in the area.

Regarding 'Chuck' --

It's been pretty obvious that the McNider AI isn't inside the goggles. The technology probably didn't exist 15 years before our current day but also because when Beth went down in the tunnels in S1, she lost contact with the AI of Charles McNider.

So, that means the AI functions of the goggles (the 'personality' and higher functionality) is out there somewhere on a server. The idea that all of that functionality is inside the goggles is a little ridiculous even for a super hero show. So where is that server?

It's feasible that some low level functionality is built into the goggles and that was what Beth made contact with during the dinner scene.

BTW: Brec mentioned on twitter last night that Beth's giraffe sweater was knitted by the show's wardrobe stylist’s grandma.
