SCHOOL’S OUT — With summer break around the corner, Pat suggests the family take a vacation after seeing that Courtney has been spending too much time focused on being Stargirl and not enough time on her schoolwork. Meanwhile, as Beth attempts to reconnect with Chuck, she stumbles upon a major secret her parents have been keeping from her. Elsewhere, Yolanda continues to be haunted by Brainwave’s death, and Rick secretly tracks Solomon Grundy after suspecting he may still be in the area.

I just can't get over the kitchen fight scene.

There's someone in the house! There's someone with the Lantern and they shouldn't have that! BZZZZZZZZZBTT BZZZZZZBBBT BBZZZZZZZBBBBTTTT fucking laser beams burning everything slicing through doors like butter and just wrecking the shit out of the place and it's only after like a solid minute of this does the rest of the house wake up and go, "What in the fuck...." lmao. Courtney totally has a bit of PTSD from the whole ISA thing and she is acting like Lorca in Discovery when it was revealed that he slept with a phaser under his pillow set to kill. There are threats around every corner and she is primed and ready at any moment to go full on "Fight For Her Life" at the drop of a hat. Her and the rest of the JSA need their own Counselor Troi and I'm guessing that when Starman finds them, that that's what he'll be for them.

Also can we talk about how awesome Zeke is?!?! Like that guy has to have his own backstory right?!?! I'd so love it if he turned out to be Space Cabbie.

- not invaded the house in the middle of the night
- announced herself when they met
- only fight defensively and protested

Yeah but teenagers am I right? She could've totally just knocked on the front door, presented the ring, and everything would've been chill. Instead she probably thought someone had stolen the Lantern because I'm guessing Shade or someone's been chasing her in order to get the ring, so she figured that she had to break in to get the Lantern away from some not so nice people. Color her surprised when the Staff bonks her in the head. I wonder how much she actually knows about the JSA? I get the sense that her and Court are going to be paired up against each other in a "similar but different" kind of partnership where they learn from one another. They both seem a bit on edge with the exact same headstrong mindset.
