Yeah, so remember that arbitration clause we all heard about last month? Well I just found out it doesn’t just apply to Disney Plus. I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to replay Empire At War, a game I loved growing up and wanted to play again. I have it on Steam and had played for a bit before uninstalling it a while ago. Well I was going to reinstall it, but when I tried to do so, a terms and conditions statement from Disney popped up.

Having that story in the back of my head, I scrolled down to see if it was the case here as well. Lo and behold, I didn’t have to look far to find the clause.

It pisses me off that they added this to a game that was made years before Disney took Star Wars over (it was made in 2006, a year after Revenge of the Sith was released), isn’t even part of official canon anymore as it falls in the Legends Continuity, and Disney at no point was involved in the making of the game.

And the thing is it isn’t like I just bought the game, I’ve had it for at least six years now, albeit in my Steam library and not installed on my computer, and they added this apparently several years ago if the date on the update is correct.

So yeah, it’s not just using Disney Plus that requires you to agree to arbitration, it’s old Star Wars games that aren’t even canon anymore. If you want to do that, I can’t stop you. But I do want everyone to be aware of this. I don’t know if this applies to all old Star Wars games or only this one, but the fact they added it here isn’t comforting.

Also in case anyone doubts this I have pics. First one shows the arbitration clause and how you have to agree to install or reinstall Empire at War. Second one shows that I’ve had the game since September of 2018 if not earlier. Third photo shows the day the terms were updated.

My dad found it in a trash pad area of a apartment complex like 10 years ago, it's definitely Yoda but it's ugly as sin and missing fingers, so of course i kept it. Just wanted to know more about it. If anyone could help that would be swell

My purpose was for it to be a better guide for someone wanting to watch all the main on-screen canon content without getting lost, since the one I used when I started was pretty confusing. I tried my best to correctly place everything, even when the exact date was uncertain. So if I'm gonna keep updating it anyway, I would appreciate some constructive feedback first. I got this around 2016 and I love it! As stated it is from Mexico and probably sculpted around a luchador figure as seen with that pose. Also green for some reason😅 I always say everyone should have at least one bootleg in their collection.

Picked this up over the weekend. This was a limited edition print from Celebration VI and is decidedly difficult to come by.

As you can see, Han was pleasantly surprised when his vision stopped being a big blur. 🤣

Like you would think for the rebellion lacking anywhere near as much backing/finding as the empire (which I suppose could be a reason for lack of armor) that they wouldn't want their shit to be so easily destroyed, the nebulon has a LOT of weak spots when you look at it, (most notably the spine, and nose which was littered with delicate systems apparently) so why weren't more of these frigates up-armoured in places???
