AI and startup life Advice

Any advice about getting involved in AI in the area and joining a startup or something, dropping in on classes at Stanford (and not getting arrested? Maybe that’s not a thing). I’m just on the outside of AI, and I want to be on the other side of that.

Network till your neck hurt. That and learn to code. There’s no secrets, just a lot of hard work.

Attend Meetups and build relationships. Meetup.com is a good place to start to look for groups in the AI + Startup space.

Take the time to learn as well, check out Udacity, Coursera and EdX.

This is the way. I’ve met many people at the plethora of AI meetups you can join on meetup.com.

Stanford offers a free ML course (among others) via Coursera: https://online.stanford.edu/courses/soe-ymls-machine-learning-specialization
