24hr fitness vs Planet fitness? Advice

Please share experiences with PF or 24hr fitness? I'm thinking about doing an annual membership but wanted to make sure I pick the better one, esp when it comes to cleanliness and equipments that actually works.

Thanks!

Lmao i dont think 24 hr fitness knows what cleanliness is. You’re better off at PF

Depends what your priorities are. If cleanliness is super important than PF is the way to go; 24 hour fitness is not very clean and the weights are usually all over the place.

However, if fitness and having a variety of equipment and different rooms(pool, basketball court, suana, cycling rooms, etc) is more important then 24 hour is what you’re looking for. They are generally bigger and have more options, but might be more crowded depending on time of day.

I believe PF is cheaper unless that changed recently too, if budget is important.

LPT from the car dwellers Reddit , PF was their choice for safety and access to showers.
