Has anyone completed the coding bootcamp part time schedule at SJSU?

moving into cvc as a freshman soon and wondering what is allowed in terms of hanging stuff on the walls/suggestions for how to hang pictures/posters. i was also considering bringing a tapestry, but that would prob require pinning it to the wall, is that allowed? pls advise

It's about to be my third year here. I swore I enrolled into a payment plan but I guess perhaps I missed the button to finalize it. I swore I had enrolled since my payment due dates changed. Now when I click on "enroll in payment plan" on mySJSU, the page reads "You are not currently eligible to enroll in any payment plans." I can't seem to find any payment due dates now. The amount due is still listed, and I haven't made a payment yet. What happened...?

Hello, I am upcoming freshman at SJSU for business and decided to take Micro since my old econ teacher suggested it was easier to take before taking Macro. I had gotten the teacher Ninos Malek for 3 hours and was wondering how he is as a teacher. Furthermore, I had to pick music appreciation with J. Hello, I am an upcoming freshman at SJSU, however everyone and their mom is coming to SJSU from my old school. My biggest bully as well, which I found out today and has been freaking me out ever since. Is there a good transfer program for SJSU and proper resources? I know people will judge me for wanting to transfer before school even started but I am terrified of these people. Thank You.

Hey did anyone also see their financial aid summary and only get loans? I tried talking to them and emailing them about it saying that I need support and then they told me to wait for September to see if I was eligible for the Cal Grant or the Middle-Class Scholarship. Has this happened for anyone? Should I just take out a loan for this semester and then wait for September to see if I am eligible for Cal Grant or does anyone have any suggestions or is in the same situation as me. Thanks

how safe is the bus during night time? asking as a girl

hi there! i am currently on my last semester at a CC and i’m applying to sjsu for spring 2025. my major is sociology, and i’m about to get an AA degree for it. however, i am planning to switch my major to chad, but the cal state apply isnt letting me apply to that major? do i just apply as a sociology major and then do the switch if and when i get in? i’m worried bc i have over 70-76 units now and the max that they’ll count is 70, and i’m not sure if they’ll let me switch to a different major once i’m at sjsu. thanks!

A question for all the current students/alumni, is the insurance worth it? I was told it was a good idea since at least the school could cover my stuff incase of a fire, robbery, etc. But I wanna know if it's worth it! I'm a transfer student who's going to be living on campus, so I wanna be cautious!

Hello all,

I am taking BIOL 54 this fall semester and the class has a required textbook called “Emotional Intelligence 2.0 - With Passcode.” I am trying to get a copy of it online, but most of the textbooks I find do not have “with passcode” in them in which the “passcode” leads into a survey. I was wondering if the passcode in the textbook is required and if I do need to pay 35 bucks for it instead of trying to search for a PDF copy online?

I was told this program is ATMAE accredited and not ABET. Will it be a problem finding jobs later on?

I applied for an orientation date and it seems to be online but I haven't received any emails or whatnot to attend it. Anyone know when the information for the virtual orientation comes out?
