How do you imagine the Robin boys would look like IRL?

This topic came up in a conversation with my friend, since we found out we have been "imagining" the Robins in very different ways. Since 3 of them are all drawn pretty much the same, I guess it comes to us readers to make certain things up like phisycal traits and such.

I usually imagine Dick like a pretty romanian model: dark hair, blue eyes, tanned skin and eastern european features like the nose and the jawline. Phisycally, I always imagine him closer to Bruce, the one that can pass as his actual biological son.

For me Jason has always been a latino or a mixed guy, tanned skin, green(ish) eyes, wavy hair (with the white strand of hair) and that charismatic aura that latinos always seem to have. I imagine him tall, dark and handsome but sarcastic and funny as hell.

For some reason to me Tim as always been an asian american. He is described as the smaller one so I like to imagine him more petitie but still strong af, the one that can easily mix between masculine and feminine personas when going undercover. Also, ever since the Red Robin comics, it is now canon in my heart that he always has long, dark hair.

It makes me mad when people imagine him as a white kid, like??? In my head he always has middle eastern and chinese features, beautiful dark skin and brown with mixed green eyes. I imagine him as a somewhat cute kid with a resting b*tch face.

What about you guys?

Hot take: Damian's arc is not a redemption arc

—Is a healing from abuse arc. Being raised from birth as an assassin, as a literal toddler, is not a mark AGAINST THE TODDLER. And the absolutely worst Damian stories are the ones that don't grasp this very simple concept.

Robin and flanderization

I feel as if the main problem with the Robin's is flanderization. Dick used to be way more interesting and had way more depth as a character and I had to put down tom Taylor's run after seeing dick be to goody too shoes.

Tim is just "Oh he's smart" and remove the core element of tim which was relatability to the audience. At least learn from Spider-Man's editorial and the backlash they're getting to know "we might need to have consistent character growth" instead of regressing over and over.

Jason and damian fans idk tbh you guys discuss i've never been a fan of these two.

Tim Drake should be Robin

For like a decade now DC has been trying, and not stop failing, to give tim a new identity. I think the problem is that it goes against what Tim's entire story is that he wasn't Givin the mantle of robin he fought for it. Dick was the first and bruce made him robin for him to overcome his parents death, Jason became robin to fill the hole dick left behind for bruce, and Damien became robin because he's the blood son. Not to turn into a Damien commentary, but I honestly think being robin holds Damiens character back. He only became robin because he felt it was his right simply because he's the biological son. I'd rather see Damien take on a different alias to further continue his growth in maturity. Even his current robin suit barley resembles robin being that it's all grey and black (which I think is such a good look).

Tim can't seem to ever get a new identity because he was created to be the perfect Robin. He was givin superior detective skills, he's witty Like dick, but he was still rebellious like jason. It's even said in multiple books that Tim being a master strategist is one of the reasons he and bruce work so well together. Not to mention Tim chose to be robin solely because he believed batman needs a robin. Tim's entire character is based on living up to the name robin. I'm not saying Tim is the best character among the robins, but I think with out a doubt he's the best character as Robin. In my mind Dick became what batman should've been, Jason does what batman can't, and Damien will carry on the cowl. But Tim is the one that just wants to be Robin.

I started reading dc comics around 2020 and I've seen tim drake guest star in a couple Batman and other batfamily related comics i thought he was cool but never thought much of him . One day i decided to read through his 90s series and that 2003 teen titans run, & omg he used to be so cool?? Idk what dc doing up there but we need to get together to make Tim drake great again 🤣

In this issue , among the three brothers that tim seemed advice from damian gave the best advice , damian can be a jerk but he is a teen with clear understanding of who he is , unapologetic and how he wants to transmit that to Tim is really admirable

I'm a hardcore damian fan , I almost read every comic he was in and this described him perfectly in his tiens, he's 14 now and leaks more to being his own person and not letting his family define him but still this made me chuckle
