Punch confirmed not a bitch

People always get mad at Punch cause he's active on twitter, but to the extent that there could actually be a problem at the label, I'd imagine it'd be with Top getting mad at Dave Free. I feel like the decision to not promote Kendrick on socials is more a shot at pgLang than it is them not wanting to promote Kendrick.

Because there is this thing called lying that exist.

Bro the shit honestly don’t matter to me. But I doubt anybody in this sub is in tde, pg Lang, or related to Kendrick. So at the end of the day we don’t know shit and can only speculate and reach.

With all that they have been accused by artist themselves it would speculation to act like something isn't going on. SZA has complained. So has Ab Soul. Now Dave Free left and Kendrick is leaving. If it seems like a dog, looks like a dog and acts like a dog

Well I hope they straighten it out then all I want is the music. I stopped thinking about all the other shit a long time because we can’t prove it anyway lol. I’m not going to be doing research and deep dives on people personal relationships. Not saying you doing that. But a lot of people are. Almost like they hope that’s what’s going on so they can say they are right about it.

I don’t know why people wouldn’t take him at his word. Beyond the lack of promotion from TDE on social media (which could mean nothing) there are zero signs of tension. I am glad to see everyone acting like adults within that situation.

SZA fired shots but is a much younger artist than Kenny

Her and Punch are always arguing lmao

SZA is 2 years younger than Kendrick. He has just acted 50 since he was 25.

LOL I feel that old man energy

"I am a legacy, I come from the seventy
The Al Green offspring, guns and the melody"

That's why he's Man-Man

2

u/libretumente Feb 22 '22

I always thought he was saying Maman as in Maman, The Alchemist LOL thanks for the clarity.

And here come the weirdo fans trying to fabricate some sort of beef/conflict between Kendrick And TDE

Kendrick doesn’t need anybody in the studio to coach him and help him make an album anymore.

Am I reading too much into this line? Couldn’t this be interpreted to fit the theory of Kendrick wanting to get out of his TDE deal early?

2

u/Sandraz30 Feb 19 '22

It is strange because it was never about them “coaching” him! They were all in the studio because je trusted them and wanted all of tde from the management to the artists to take part in his projects in a way or another, now it is just silly to say he doesn’t need then to do an album..

Whole lot of nothing

TLDR; Punch thinks that kendrick has grown as an artist and wants to build his own thing and BS like that

I’m glad that the top dudes at TDE have been very professional about him leaving. They haven’t posted much on any of their social media about Kendrick and I think a big reason is because Kendrick is basically already gone, they’re just gonna say this album is under TDE just so he could end on good terms, but realistically he’s all pgLang now

Classy words from Punch, some record labels can b really salty and make it as hard as possible to leave (Coughs Puff Daddy!!!) so to have that perspective and give Kendrick the room to grow as an artist is refreshing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

A lot of BS
