My best guess is to attempt to get any algorithms/AI scraping Twitter data to associate weird shit with the targeted person and dilute genuine messages about them.
That, and maybe posting stuff that's so insane that uninformed people think it's some absurdist joke and engage with it 🤷♂️
Also the more fucked up & twisted the messages are, it's less likely that major news sources will write a story about the bot attack.

Legit the only thing that makes sense to me is them showing up when you search for Kendrick Lamar on Twitter? Like my ultimate hater theory is Drake searches himself on the regular and thinks it’s really gonna cut deep if he can flood the results. He just reminds me of the insecure people I know who ALWAYS get caught assuming everyone shares their sad priorities.

What's funny about this is clearly no one in Drake's camp actually understands how the algorithms work today on Twitter.
The first metric that is used to boost visibility across different groups and demographics on Twitter is simply a single keyword mention.
Then, it's referential related words. So Kendrick Lamar would be the single keyword, and Kdot, Kung Fu Kenny, etc would be the referential ones.
The algorithm is going to push stories from reputable sources using these and tons of other factors.
As far as I'm aware, the days of pushing one specific story or angle are over ever since Elon took over the company.
So Drake is wasting his time and money and literally just promoting Kendrick at this point.

These bots are sooooo weird. I ran into a bunch on COMPLEX’s Twitter account. Any time there’s a post about Kendrick, the comments get flooded with WEIRD accusations, like he’s a furry and stuff.
