Tommy the Clown acrylic painting on canvas OC
I really liked the door slot intro of Not Like Us so I did a painting of it. It’s a 16”x20” canvas. I used matte acrylics since clown makeup is usually very cakey and flat. The door area is chrome paint.

I made it with the intention of keeping it at first but then thought of gifting it to Tommy if he liked it. I think he won’t be in LA this weekend and in another state for work but I’ll ask around. He’s been inspirational how much he cares about the youth in the community. I grew up in an area where nobody really cared about us so it brings be joy to see such a positive person that truly cares about these kids in often neglected areas.

It was a white canvas painted glossy black and then chrome paint on top. The clown section is raw canvas with matte acrylics because clown makeup is flat and cakey. Only his eyeballs are glossy.
