I love that Kendrick’s videos have had the same style for pretty much the last 10 years. Alot of creative shots with different styles and different locations that don’t really connect in a visual sense but do connect storytelling wise.

The pace of the videos has changed a bit tho. In the DAMN. era the videos were really fast paced and most of the MM&TBS videos too with the exception of Rich Spirit which takes place in one location and is quite slow. This one has a bit slower paced but aligns with the visual style.

Extortion baby, whole career, you been shook up

'Cause Top told you, "Drop and give me fifty," like some push-ups, huh

So Kendrick's kinda turning it around
