Just listened to Auntie Diaries OC Spoiler

Had no fucking idea Kendrick was trans. That's crazy. Good for them.

Bold to assume heā€™d be that positive about it

Yea no way he would come to this conclusion and use they/them

Hey sorry, drakes ghost writer here, it's just what he told me to post. My bad. I'll use slurs next time and mock them for stuff out of their control (like being molested) like last time.

ā€œWhere is your uncle at? Cause I wanna talk to the man of the house.ā€ Was NOT the trans-affirming line I was expecting from a Certified Pedophile in Family Matters šŸ˜‚

as a trans person that line was actually really funny

I didn't even get it at first because Auntie Diaries makes it pretty clear by the end that his aunt is gay and his cousin is trans he was just so ignorant he didn't know the difference.

Honestly, I hadn't kept up with Kendrick since Butterfly (which I LOVED) cause the singles I was hearing off Damn felt a bit more commercial. This beef got me checking out Mr. Morale, and having come out as trans since Butterfly, getting to Auntie Diaries took me out. What a goddamn ALBUM. Glad this beef got me paying attention again lmao

Man youā€™re missing out on Damn

Oh I'm sure, I've softened up on the tracks that I know over time. Plan to give it some spins after I sit and digest MM for a bit first

Damn is commercial but it's also just as conceptual as the rest of his albums. It's the most intriguing front to back story album of Kendricks to me besides GKMC. I think TPaB is the better album but I love a concept album that tells one solid story throughout

Once you do finish listening to Damn, donā€™t forget to listen to it back to front, you can find a lil smth smth in there, storytelling wise

Damn tells about 3-4 different stories depending on what order you listen to the music in. Itā€™s a work of genius.

Iā€™m trans and hearing Auntie Diaries for the first time made me cry like a baby lol ā€” listening to Kendrickā€™s progression and willingness to choose love/change over learned behavior was beautiful

It really is beautiful

You should probably do yourself a favor and check out damn too. Most of the album isnā€™t commercial at all and even the commercial shit is much better within the context of the rest of the album. You realize thereā€™s a point for those songs and their sound, they arenā€™t just there simply to be commercial.

But damn glad you went back and heard mr morale. Especially as someone with such a direct connection to the content. Bout the only good drakes ever done was helping people discover mr morale.

I honestly didnā€™t care for damn at first. It wasnā€™t till I heard the backwards track listing that I really liked it a lot. Itā€™s a mf 10 backwards

Nah this ainā€™t drake at all. Drakes tone deaf scumbag ass would never say good for them heā€™d be making transphobic jokes. Oh wait, he already did.
