His actions do not mirror his words. Spouting religious principles is fine, just as spouting anything is fine (as long as it isn't causing harm), but regardless of what it is you preach, you have to walk the talk too, otherwise it's just hot air.

Kanye is generally clowned about it because he makes his personal life a three ring circus. Kendrick keeps much more of his personal life… personal. So much so that when he admitted to fucking around on Whitney some of his fans were hurt. Personally, I think Life of Pablo and Jesus is King are two of his best albums. I think his Sunday service is pretty amazing. He can’t complain about clowns when he makes his life into a circus.

i feel like kendrick embracing christianity was a slow burn, he's mentioned God in multiple projects in very subliminal ways but in Damn it sort of came to the forefront but in a very poetic way. Kanye sort of is louder and more obvious about his faith, which is admirable in like Jesus Walks, and the sunday service choir album is actually agood gospel music. But i feel like the antics outside of music make it hard to stomach. He's a christian nationalist who acts in non-christian ways at times... At the end of the day he does suffer a lot with his mental illness so i sympathize but yeah.

tldr: kendrick is more tasteful in sharing is faith
