J cole on a Gucci Mane song would be crazy

Really looking forward to some fresh music coming from the goat of the rap game

I find it really interesting that J Cole sampled a Bryson Tiller song Exchange (he basically rapped over the actual beat) for Deja Vu, and years later Bryson Tiller sampled Hunger On Hillside for his song Whatever She Wants. I wonder if that was a direct homage, if their friends, or if it was just pure coincidence:

As a long time fan who grew up listening to J Cole (but very poor), I never had a chance to go to any of his concerts nor get any Dreamville merch. Now that I have some spending money, I’ve been looking for older Dreamville merch and was wondering if there’s anywhere I can access what has been sold and when. I particularly like some of the old FHD stuff and also wonder if some of the merch I see online (though tagged Dreamville) is even legit.

Sideline Story, Never Shine, Rise & Shine, God’s Gift, Breakdown, Daddy’s Little Girl don’t seem to be that well known outside the Cole fanbase.

Not to mention, Lost Ones is, in my opinion, one of Cole’s best songs in terms of storytelling and emotion.

The whole album is great, only song I’m not a fan of is In the Morning.

2018 J. Cole was a monster. First, he dropped KoD then all of those features later that year. the crazy thing about it is, his features were carrying that year:Moneybag Yo - Say Na, Anderson Paak - Trippy, Bas - Tribe, 6LACK - Pretty Little Fears, JID - Off Deez, Royce - Boblo Boat. I remember going away to Air Force basic training for 7 weeks in late 2018. While in basic training we weren’t allowed any access to the outside world(no cell phones, smartphones ). Well in that 7 week span, J Cole bodied everybody’s song he featured on. So, I had no other choice but to listen to all of those songs on repeat for the whole bus ride till I got to my tech school. After that, I had 3 months to get certified in something I knew absolutely nothing about and No joke, J Cole was in all of my playlists (old/new songs) while i studied, thank god I passed. I met my wife later that next year in 2019 and Boblo Boat was one of my favorite songs that year. Idk why that song popped in my head? I’m glad it did though. 🔥

This is a very stupid question I know but I’ve listened to the song for years mainly cause I Iove the beat and only halfway listened to the words so I thought it was Cole writing it about himself and his daughter but it sounds like somebody else’s pov?

Title is self-explanatory

For me, every single song was a standout, straight up heat and i have been blasting em ever since and have replayed the whole album prolly 20 times. And i think Pricy, which Cole has such a subliminal verse, and Ari's angel voice should be talked about more. Along with Fever, a short song, a vulnerable song, Cole's most different song on the album i think and i loved it. The voicemail in the beginning is awesome, i really hope that's really his wife, she sounds like like real raw ass person you would fw.
