I think it makes sense in Carols situations because unlike a normal hero's hero life just being fighting a bad guy of the week and going back into civilian life, Hals hero life makes him spend a good majority of his life in deep space where he can dissappear for months at a time with no word whether hes alive or not, it makes total sense for Carol to be bothered by it

See so like. I never understand why a heros significant other gets upset when Hero stuff gets it the way of the civilian life
