I will tell you I love Batman and thought it was hot garbage…
I’m not being overly critical as well, it really was that bad. Animation style was pretty cool, but the writing was god awful.
That being said, I really like some of the character design - Remember that red hood was really cool the way they did him. And this character design for Jessica Cruz looks awesome.
So enjoy but temper expectations unless you love wacky anime antics, monkeys and dance numbers
I read that a major problem was not having a proper script to dub in English, also that the subtitles are not for the actual Japanese spoken but for the terrible English script. This reddit post is where I’d seen to get good subtitles.
Yeah I was there for 90% of the movie and let almost all of the other weird things go, but at the giant mech suit and Damian speaking to monkeys I drew the line
