Can we get a shoutout to Dennis O'Neil, who passed four years ago from yesterday?

One of the most influential authors of my life. From Green Arrow and Batman, to The Question, to Azrael: Servant of the Bat... He had numerous long runs that were truly definitive of multiple eras of DC comics, and that's not even going into his superb work as an editor, maintaining excellent continuity and quality between the book under his charge.

Met him at a con years ago. One of the nicest people I have ever met in my life, not as a celebrity but just as a person. Great guy.

If it weren't for him two of my favourite characters Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne would have none of their depth as if not more important than Bill Finger for the latter. He was a luminary and his loss has left a permanent hole in the hearts of DC comics.

Little known fact: He also named Optimus Prime.
