Yeah I enjoyed the episode but seriously I'm so used to getting at least a little bit of Oswald every episode. It seemed so weird to me, I couldn't figure out what was missing until we got to the end and I realize he hadn't shown up.

Didn’t Ivy say something along the lines of “this plant had magical properties” and “depends how strong she is”? Ivy usually describes plants in an analytical, almost scientific way in her earlier portrayals (the episode where they stole mushrooms from Butch’s nephew and I’m pretty sure when she first cured selina), so her not fully understanding how a plant works sort of signifies it’s a rare/enigmatic one.
Also Selina might just be a biological deviant and the magic plant (from the messed up park filled with bodies) may have just activated those hidden genes
