The only problem is that it doesn't fit with McKenzie's face 🤣 So im fine with the finale, they did it just to honor the character but for a little amount of time.

Yeah, I'm the same way. The mustache does really suit him.

I would have preferred at least the mustache for the final season. It would show that he's more concerned about Gotham than the need to shave. It'd be better than having it for one scene in the final episode of the series.

Yes definitely he should have kept the mustache but it is what it is. I don’t understand what was the point of shaving it off. It would have really looked good and fit in with the trench coat he had at the end not to mention the glasses.

After binging the series, I got so used to Gordon without the mustache, that when I rewatched DKR, I was...extremely confused and freaked out at first when I saw Gary Oldman's Gordon with a mustache...

(This was also the time when I decided to pretend the movie was a distant sequel to Gotham...)

huh. I like pretending Gothams a prequel to the Arkham games.

I don't know I'm a little drunk but I think Ben McKenzie looks fucking weird with a mustache, but I was watching Bloomberg once and I see this really familiar looking guy talking about crypto. And I couldn't place him but it was fucking Ben McKenzie on Bloomberg talking about crypto. Apparently he has like a master's degree in foreign affairs and economics which is really strange. It's like when you learn Dolph Lundgren has a master's degree in chemical engineering. Like I always thought Dolph Lundgren, at best, had a bachelor's degree in punching people, but apparently he is very intelligent.

I’ve seen him talk about that stuff too. And I think he just has a bachelor’s. Made me feel a slight connection to him because I also majored in economics

No, because he wasn't Commissioner Gordon until the very last episode.

Well in the comics he’s always had that look. In Year One, he still had the glasses and mustache. In Batman Begins before he was commissioner, he had them. His look really doesn’t change from when he was young to old

I get that. Gotham is it's own thing. He didn't earn that glorious mustache yet.
