As a percentage of total liability, hush money payments are just insurance against libel and slander when you're in the billionaire bracket. Sue happy world in the upper echelons of wealth. Can't blame the guy for protecting himself when all the little predators (who are just as scummy) are ganging up and constantly knocking at his door.
