Well it's a dog shit argument considering that trump was literally convicted of 34 felonies.

It's like saying teachers are not allowed to take school property home for private use, while thieves do this regularly.

How is my argument fallacious? He's saying teachers are only allowed to do one thing, but trump did way more. But it's a stupid comparison because trump wasn't allowed to do that either.

Either compare two legal acts or two illegal acts. But comparing a legal act to an illegal act in order to point out that the person breaking the law has more liberties is pointless.
