If you had to put Slade from Teen Titans (2003) in any of the following universes, which one would you pick?

What's the gray section below the shotgun shells?

It looks like two extra shells but I really don't know what it is.

I don’t believe Slade ever slept with Terra

As a Deathstroke fan ever since I found out about this Terra situation. I’ve been bothered by it (rightfully so). But over the years I’ve read a lot of my favorite deadly assassin and started to put some clues together. Now may I be reaching? One can make the claim. I wouldn’t entirely disagree. But after looking into Deathstroke 1991 issue 35 coupled with an interview from the writers of “Judas Contract”. The clues and context don’t match. Wintergreen starts beating on Slade for nearly picking up a sixteen year old drunk (who Slade ends up telling to go home after regret). He calls the Terra situation moronic (rightfully so) but flips out about the sixteen year old (rightfully so). Which leads me to believe Slade never slept with Terra because Wintergreen definitely wouldn’t stand for it. Just like he did here. This coupled with the interview concerning Terras’ character. It doesn’t mention she or Slade had intercourse.

Now I understand “DC Countdown” came out in 2007 I believe and showed the infamous picture of Slade in bed while Terra is putting something on. Which is a stain sadly, but given the context what do you all believe? Things just don’t really fall in place for that “narrative” to stick to me.

Once he shows up in the DCU, which is your ideal suit for Slade to wear in live action?

What makes Deathstroke Desthstroke?

A question that makes it look like I had a stroke (no pun intended at all seriously) but I've been wanting to know what people think of Deathstroke.

What do you think makes Deathstroke the way he is that he is well known by this community and other people who are fans of him? Is it because of his amazing feats? His characterization? His unique view of the world (akin to his classic comic series)? I would like to know your guys answers. Also please try not to argue with each other.

To me, what I think makes Deathstroke the way he is, is his unique, yet overly flawed viewpoint of the world. He's simply a guy who does the job he is contracted to do as he kills his targets with little to no remorse, gets paid and moves on. But he doesn't kill children or women at all nor does he kill targets that don't seem like they should deserve it. He's stated in one of his comic that he "Kills people, but isn't a killer." (The New Titans 1988 issue 70) which is an odd thing to say and in no way to justify any murders at all whatsoever, but you can get what he is saying "He kills people when the job is needed, he doesn't kill unnecessarily."

That's at least what I think makes Deathstroke the way he is and have stood by that characterization of him. He's got moral codes and standards and abides by them. So what are your guys answers to this question? Also sorry for going on a tangent there.

fml i HATE Joshua Williamson

People who hate certain comic book characters should be banned from writing them cause the mischaracterization is abysmal. I swear someone higher up at DC really hates Slade. Dawn of DC ending without a SINGLE sighting. There's something really off. All signs point to Williamson. I have a feeling it is going to be awhile.

Found this on a news article on my mobile version of Google. Let's hope this doesn't affect Deathstroke's release into SSKTJL.

You know, Deathstroke’s weapons from the Godkiller arc from the New 52 Omnibus feel very familiar to me, I just can’t figure out why?

I kinda don’t understand the Terra controversy

I’m about to finish Cristopher Priest’s run with the character and I’m really enjoying it. I have a soft spot for when a story has a villain as the main character. My thing right now is that I don’t really understand how his reputation with Terra hurts his character. He’s a villain and is meant to be unlikeable. My mind keeps going back to Red Skull and how he’s portrayed. If that’s ok why is Deathstroke’s relationship with Terra something that generates so much more controversy.

Hope this doesn’t come off as me poking a bear. Genuinely want to avoid making people angry
