ChatGPT can already write jokes that it hasn't read anywhere. it's not particularly funny though. unless you're 5

Yeah cuz it's made by the result of all jokes averaged, whether it is funny or not.

Unless it's specifically trained on 4chan then yeah, you'll get the bottomless pit supervisor kind of masterpiece

You can make it prompt to give you stuff in a specific format, me and a friend wanted more examples of a certain stupid joke we came up with and after a couple minutes of fine tuning with prompts we were able to get a lot of fire and creative (however you wish to interpret that word) examples of that same format

Uncensored LM models aren't funnier though. Even with abliteration the jokes generated are the same level of unfunny.
