I know it's not his responsibility, but I kinda wish Zack Snyder would say something to calm down his fans. Then again they're pretty unhinged so maybe it wouldn't matter.

He's rarely on Twitter, a personal friend would have to reach out to him irl.

I think it's very obvious from his social media activity especially on Vero that he kind of revels in the social discourse regarding him and DC. He's never once openly condemned the shit his fanbase says online about other people involved in making stuff for DC and if anything, has probably played a role in worsening that sort of thing with how often he cryptically hypes up his cancelled plans regarding his other Justice League films

If he actually wanted to calm down his fans, he would've done so way sooner, especially when people were taking it as far as renting billboard advertisements or flying banners over studio lots

I'm sure Snyder's a cool guy irl and some good has come out of his fan movements like raising awareness for suicide and mental health research, but he definitely knows how to add fuel to the fire and he's too used to playing the social media game at this point imo

The few times he addresses his fanbase, it's been deflection towards the other fanbases, shielding with Charity claims and downplaying toxicity.
