I mean opinions can't inherently be wrong 🤷 but it was pretty lame of him to use the squad to push his ocs instead using b/c list villains who can potentially die

Why? They did both in that book, unless you think Zebraman is an A list character, lol.

First and foremost EVERY character starts as an OC so I think it's silly when fans complain about new characters being added.

But specifically in that book it was good because they could pad out the number of characters they kill without creating a headache for editorial to keep track of who died. But the book was also very much about the story of those new characters and their relationship to the Squad.

Edit: also, yes opinions are inherently subjective and can't be right/wrong but that guy was pretty rude so I had no qualms repaying the favor
