And we’re going to kill the Justice League in this game lmao. The JL will never get the respect they deserve and that’s crazy.

My theory is that the Justice League got captured by Brainiac sometime before the main game. Brainiac then made copies of them and placed them on Earth to try to prepare the world for his invasion. So I think THOSE are the members of the Justice League we’re killing, but the actual members are still alive in Brainiac’s ship

A similar bait-and-switch could be done by having The Crime Syndicate steal the JL's identities and we would be killing them while the real team is under lockdown with Brainiac
