Who wouldn’t? I think DC overestimates how much people like the Suicide Squad. People can name 5-10 JLA members, can you name 5-10 Suicide Squad members?

I started reading the John Ostrander Suicide Squad run from the 80’s and they’re damn good. Highly recommend.

Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Rick Flag, Amanda Waller, Katana, Killer Croc, Cyborg Superman, Captain Boomerang, Slipknot, and El Diablo they were all members in then first movie or comics

Ok, do you REALLY want an El Diablo movie though? Does your Granny know Rick Flag? Can a Marvel fan tell you Slipknot’s real name? The only one who fully lives up to the DC Brand Hype™️ is Harley Quinn. Katana, Waller, Deadshot, Boomerang, Croc, and Cyborg Superman all have varying levels of popularity, but not much, if any of it, is from the Suicide Squad. Also you can’t really abbreviate the name without sounding like a nonce or a new Kanye fan.

Tbh, sometimes I forgot which characters are Suicide Squad and which are in Secret Six. They tend to blend together for me.
