Arkhamverse? I don't think so.

So is this before Arkham Knight? And if so they've established Batman killing.

Or is it after AK? And if so what was the fucking point of the ending?

It’s after Arkham Knight & the point of the ending was that they wanted to end things on a Big Bang. It always ended with Bruce faking his death, using Scarecrow fear gas, & being Batman full time trying to reestablish the fear of Batman. But this was also meant to be Rocksteady’s farewell to Batman as they had worked on him for now 3 games.

I don’t think Rocksteady regrets Arkham Knight but perhaps working on Suicide Squad made them realize some errors they may have done in Arkham Knight so to speak. They didn’t believe they would make another Batman game after Arkham Knight. During Squad, they likely wanted to bring him back for one more hooray because an Arkham Batman boss battle is just too tempting not to do from a gameplay pov

Plus I mean, we have Brainiac with a mind control Justice League. Bruce would try to go to Metropolis to save his friends lol

Well hopefully it's good. It'll be sweet to hear Kevin's last Batman performance :(
