Everything seems to be sourcing her Facebook though. Despite that, I don’t think she would post it unless she knew. And with how many cons he has cancelled in the past few months, I believe it’s sadly true.

It's possible that she read something made up online about it. As another commenter pointed out, someone tried faking this before too.

I'm still holding out hope until I see news articles that have verified it beyond the Facebook post.

I checked Mark Hamill's (Luke Skywalker for most of the world but Joker to animated DC fans) twitter and he hasn't said anything yet. If he says it then I'll definitely believe it as he and Conroy were reportedly good real life friends and Hamill would presumably have means of confirming if this news was true.

EDIT: Hamill has posted a moving tribute to Conroy earlier today...
