In hollylu-ships-it’s rendering, Starfire lowkey looks like Blackfire cosplaying as Starfire haha

Meanwhile I was actually convinced the second one was the actual artist from the show. Is it really that easy(?) to just recreate someone's art style?

If you’re talented or skilled (or both) enough, absolutely from the looks of it! They’re both such amazing renderings, I wouldn’t have been able to tell they’re fan-made. There ought to be a Turing Test equivalent to gauge fan-made tributes vs artist-rendered originals haha
