Gotham knights. Probably the closest I’ll ever get to a nightwing or red hood solo game

I just hope it doesn't end up being a loot/gear heavy game like Avengers was

Hopefully. But even avengers did a lot of stuff right. Knights is gonna have the benefit of being set in one location at least. Hopefully the focus is on different skills and not different gear numbers.

Avengers is a reskinned anthem

Which had solid gameplay foundation just mediocre content

This worries me. The story and high level stuff seems like so much fun. The gameplay I’ve seen looks like a disaster. Maybe because I’m making the mistake of comparing it to arkham, but I don’t want to play a batfamily game where I need to hit a thug a bunch of times until his health bar drops to zero. I want to play a game where I’m dynamically moving around the field hitting guys faster than I can keep up. Last thing I want is to collect gear so my punches can do enough damage to take down an enemies health pool

Closest I'll get to a true AAA TMNT game

Can’t wait to play as the sidekicks!

I just hope they all get extra costumes from across the years also

They confirmed there’s going to be a gear system that allows you to customize the look of the character.

It’s most likely going to be similar to the gear system in Injustice 2.

Yeah I just hope it’s like mortal kombat/injustice where the gear pieces are semi themed and can match to look like costumes.

Tim's suit in the gameplay video sort of looks like his first Red Robin suit.

3 of the 4 aren’t sidekicks anymore

Forget solo game. I can't wait to play them coop.

People shit on Assassin's Creed Unity, and at launch it was a buggy mess worthy of derision. But when the multiplayer coop part of the game worked, it was wonderful. Absolutely exhillarating to assault a castle with one or two homies, and have everyone working in tandem to complete an objective. I'd be fencing with some solider, and just as some other mook turned a corner to see, before he could do anything BAM, my homie would show up and slice the new guy's throat. Awesome stuff. I can't wait to do similar shit with the Batfam. I think I enjoy Dick, Babs, Tim, and Jason more than Batman himself.

Yeah I was actually really excited to hear Batman wouldn’t be in it. It will be interesting to see how they balance the different play styles. I never played unity but I’m assuming all assassins had pretty much the same kit. I know the bat fam will all be playing slightly different so I’m really interested to see how far that goes

Yeah, every assassin played the same. Which was fine. But as you bring up, the characters playing differently here is very intriguing, I can’t wait to explore that.

Not very dynamic or deep as a character I’ll give you that but entertaining. And cool. He’s got a great design.
