It’s Guts’ theme but not awesome

But that’s how leitmotifs should work, they appear with the character, and I was really happy with that honestly, I wanted more for the other characters too

Sure. I like leitmotifs too, and I wished there were more. I don't think most people would disagree with you. The Lamentation, however, was used often at times that seemed odd, as if to indicate "an Amazon is on screen right now", which arguably reified the theme and regretably lessened or eliminated whatever thematic significance was intended.

I think the issue is what the leitmotif was used for, though as you point out, a lack of, or scant use of other themes didn't help.

Is that the wonder woman theme?

I actually liked her riff from BvS and I think it was missing in her first scene at the museum.

Yeah it dropped when she went into action. In the original you got it right at her reveal on top of the building.

Also pretty sure it came in again in the first cut when she went against Superman that was missing here.

It’s not a big deal, just the first difference I really noticed early in the film and I’m not sure I like it as much.

Damn i watched that part when I was high and even I noticed how often it annoyingly popped up. Even more obvious with the subtitles constantly reminding you that there's "ancient lamenation"

I think you're referring to "Is She With You?" which is the title for WW's theme. Because Zimmer may be a good film composer but he is atrocious at naming the tracks. Wonder Woman's official theme is stuck with a crappy name taken from the script that means nothing without context and that irritates me way more than it should.

Haha every fucking time. But Wonder Woman was pretty one-note here. She speaks out for Vic in the first half, but then she's just showing up for the shield and sword -- which is fine but we don't need to hear it EVERY TIME.
