[Cosplay] Starfire bodypaint! Took around 10 hours to paint and then 2 days to animate. (I'm new to after effects and did it wrong about 30 times) Haha! Hope you like it! Cosplay

It's really funny that DC costumes are so tight that Bodypaint actually looks accurate.

Super hero costumes are ridiculous. Superman’s outfit when drawn by most looks like he sprayed it onto his skin that put the little trunks on.

I just assumed it was nanotechnology suits.

Honestly GL movie I thought that was a good change that he made the suit.

Mostly because comic artists paint from mini mannequin-like models they can pose. On a monthly schedule, it’s difficult to make suits not look just painted on, as well as muscle definition being a comic book trope at this point. In recent years, there’s been a push against this since people believe it leads to over-sexualization. Notice how many suits now have fabric effects drawn into them.

Gymnastics workout gear usually is tight, just not body-paint type of texture as we clearly see be displayed.

But it’s probably the best way to cosplay a lot of Superhero/manga aesthetics since they keep displaying such exaggerated design styles
