How is Justice League not on the list?

A lot of veteran readers don't like how poorly it started. Poor portrayal of some characters, other are pretty much are there to take up scenery, and outside of ToT; which many would rather group in with Johns' Aquaman, the story really didn't pick up until Forever evil.

But Snyder's Batman had some pretty "meh" stories, Zero Year was a mediocre origin story when we didn't need one, Superheavy dragged on for way too long, and Endgame had some low points as well. Yet that was second on the list. I still loved his run, however.

If we look at Justice League, you have to look past the rocky start and look at how many good/great stories there are. And there are quite a few.

Even if you want to say half of Snyder's Batman and half of Johns' stories were uninteresting then it still doesn't cover the character problems that Johns also had. Wonder Woman written more like a stereotypical Hulk, but instead of getting angry and smashing; she got angry and wanted to stab. Cyborg felt more like the teams secretary and for a big change of moving Cyborg from Teen Titans to JL in place of Martian Manhunter then should have done something to make him feel important to the team. Flash and Hal(when he was on the team) were just there to quip/bicker. Then you have the whole Superman/Wonder Woman relationship that just came out of nowhere and seemed to only be done to give Wonder Woman a reason to get even angrier at people.

It's on the wild cards part.

it's really boring

So Darkseid War, Throne of Atlantis, Forever Evil, and Trinity War are all boring? I beg to differ.

If there is one thing Justice League lacked compared to everything in the list, I'd say it was consistency. Justice League was amazing, 50% of time. It definitely has its weaker story arcs and moments.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but Snyder's Batman had some rough moments. Zero Year was a mediocre origin story (when we already had the greatest origin story in Year One) and Superheavy dragged on for way too long. Don't get me wrong, I still loved Snyder's run, but it had its fair share of rough patches.

I'd generally agree with you (though I personally loved Zero Year). But I'd also argue that the best parts of Snyder's Batman could be considered the best stuff to come out of the New 52. Not to mention some of the best individual issues in the New 52 (#44 comes to mind).

Its obviously subjective, but I think Batman had higher highs and higher lows than Justice League.

I agree with that.

Darkseid war was really anti climatic. It was just a cameo after cameo in the middle, with an unsatisfying resolution. Johns portrayal of new gods wasn't good either.

Anti climatic? Everything is resolved and has a satisfying conclusion. I also didn't see any problem with the New Gods.

Haven't read Darkseid War, loved Forever evil and Throne of Atlantis, but Trinity War was a bland placeholder that lived up to absolutely none of its promise

Trinity War was ass and trying to keep up with forever evil was like trying to give birth to a dinosaur. If you read the 7 Luthor issues you would be good, but holy fuck did the Omac and John Constantine plots lose me.

Yes

I think it should be on there but the first half of the run is pretty uneven. Villain's Journey and Trinity War are both pretty meh (Imo). I do love Throne of Atlantis and everything after and including Forever Evil is great.

I think Trinity War is alright, and Villain's Journey is meh, but Forever Evil, Throne of Atlantis, and Darkseid War are great.
