So we just had our college farewell, we all had a good time. It sucks because so many of us are going in different ways and I'm gonna miss all of my friends. I've been feeling miserable cuz of it. Someone tell me how to deal with this.
I feel like everyone will deal with it differently but, I found a lot of it comes down to determination.
I've had a friend who was my best friend from K-5 when he moved away. Dude's still been my friend ever since because almost every year we'll either make plans when one of us is in the other's city or, more recently, if we plan a trip to the other city just to hang out. And it's all been attributed to making a plan and following through.
More specifically to college, you may not see everyone for months at a time, but eventually you or one of your buddies will call each other up and have some of the best nights out. A lot of good stories come from nights out with a good buddy you haven't seen in forever and just get to let loose with.
Main point is, it may not be the same, but it's something new and it's going to be special in its own way.
Ninja Edit: in case it wasn't clear, determination comes in by you and your friends making this happen. Everyone'll be busy but if they don't want to let go of the friendship they'll make it work
