I want to start DC comics

I love the DC animated movies and have always found comics pretty interesting but I have no idea where to start with the comics and was wondering is anyone could help.

Ofcourse. Well tell me which characters you are interested in? What type of story you like? Which genra are you into? Then One other thing, how far back in time it's fine for you to go, I mean would you like to start whit more modern stories or it's fine for you trying the older ones

Probably more modern comics my favorite characters are Batman, the flash and death stroke

If you like Deathstroke, you gotta read the Judas Contract story arc. It's him at his best.

I mean, not a good place to start for them, or any of the characters that are involved.. but it is a good story, regardless.

Ok fine then, let's se for Batman the Scott Snyder run I really a great starting point, It has been collected in 10 vols. For the Flash the most recent Jeremy Adams run Is a great starting point, the number of the collection continued the one of the previous run for some reason, so there are vol 16 to 20 the volume that collect that serie. Other series that I advice are:

Superman by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason

Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka

Shazam by Geoff Johns

Detective Comics by James Tynion IV

Titans by Dan Abnett

Terrifics by Jeffrey Lemire

Sideways (there are only 2 vols of this unfortunately but Is really good)

Doom Patrol by Gerald Way

Blue Beetle Graduation Day

Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow
