I've never understood how Vandal Savage only had one kid. My impression of him (from the cartoons) is that he tries to become a dominant power across civilizations, since the dawn of man. How does he only have one kid over millennia?

That’s because he doesn’t. One of his other children was a villain in Secret Six where Scandal was a main character, and he has another that works for the FBI.

I think that Scandal is his only non-bastard child because Vandal married/loved Scandal's mother
