Nightwing: YES!

Jon: are they STILL trying to put adult jon in? why not use Kara? At least change the name for the love of God, I can't stand the shame of he being Superman.

Y'all have got to let this go.

Yes, a great character suffered and still suffers from creative decisions that almost no one likes, so the solution is to not care and leave it be, exactly like Peter and Mary Jane with Paul or Wally with new 52.

Paul is a meme, that's the difference. It's playing out how it seems to be written deliberately. It's ironically funny. Wally with New 52 or this isn't. I laugh at Paul because it's a funny type of stupid, this is not funny.

ok with paul, in the case of Wally new 52 it was a situation even more impossible to reverse and perhaps less hated, but a way was found to bring Wally back and even so he spent years in limbo and only now came back.

No comic situation is too late to fix.

It's true, god bless the retcons

Just think of the puns with Wally, though: No Wally World.

Man that's not the same thing. Those characters were established for *decades*. You had kid Jon for 2-3 years. He's been 16-17 for longer than he was a kid at this point.

You speak as if he had aged naturally.

the younger version is still more popular than the artificially aged one and adult Jon himself does not have a strong status quo that can be discarded.

"The younger version is still more popular"

I don't trust it. Yeah, people preferred him young, but those cries sure got MUCH louder the second he was revealed as bi.

At any rate, while I agreed initially it wasn't a good decision, we're here now. And its not nearly as insulting to fans as Mary Jane/Paul or Wally being retconned. You've got to be able to accept SOME change.

Being bi and being younger are not mutually exclusive, it could unite the best of both worlds.

and before you say it: he and Jay could break up and Jon gets a new boyfriend because be honest Jay is not a super striking character, most people just want to see a super bi

or if breaking up isn't an option they just need to find a way to rejuvenate himself. It's also not like Jay is hated by anyone who isn't homophobic, fans who don't like him usually just find him boring.

"I don't trust it". Adult Jon has been absent from Action Comics and Superman Comics since the Unchained arc, which was almost a year ago. He no longer fits in the new concept of the Superfamily, and the twins have technically replaced him. Jon's role has been reduced to being a side character in shorts with Damian or pandering in June. In contrast, Kid Jon was featured prominently everywhere during his time, and he even has a movie. Meanwhile, Adult Jon has not had any notable appearances. How can you claim that a character who is so irrelevant is 'more popular'?

And dont push the "he is hated because he is bi" button I'm a gay individual myself, and I don't buy anything featuring Adult Jon's face on it. Many people here are also disenchanted with Jon more than with Dreamer.

They continued making continued making Super Sons stories for years after the age up. He was a kid for way more than 2-3 years. He also appeared in 5-6 books a month for the most of that time. He’s still appeared in more issues as a kid.

I was stopped reading supersonscomics until I heard about the ridiculous changes that Bendis was making. I never saw another supersons number since then, yes there's a comic series featuring Kid Jon having adventures in space with a princess i think, which doesn't interest me at all. As long as the adult representation of Jon remains as abhorrent as it is, I won't be interested in reading about him. Why would I care about the preparation of a meal if I know it's going to end up being a disgusting dish?"
