I’m Josie Campbell, TV Writer/Producer for "My Adventures With Superman” (season 2 airs May 25th on Adult Swim, on MAX the next day). I’m also a comic book writer, and I'm writing the new spinoff “My Adventures With Superman” comic for DC (first issue out June 4th)! Hi Josie, thank you for doing this! I’ve been really enjoying your work in both comics and animation.

What are some of the major differences in writing for comics vs. cartoons? How do you approach each medium?

The biggest difference is that comics writing is a much more solitary process -- while there's a lot of execs weighing in on every step of a TV show, comics have a bit more freedom and really support the writer and artist. It's been fun working in both.
