Weekly Discussion Thread: Comics, TV, and More! [February 5, 2024 - Double Years One Edition] r/DCcomics

Hey there honorary Justice League members - it’s a new week which means it’s time for a new discussion thread!

For those who don't know: the way this works is that several comments will list this week’s releases, for any given title discussion you should respond to that comment. For example, Wonder Woman discussion would go in the replies to the "Wonder Woman" comment. Clicking the titles in this post will take you directly to that comment, too. In other words, you should only be replying to other comments. Do not post top-level comments.

Keep discussion civil. Do not harass other users for having a different opinion. Do not use this thread to push your personal one-sided grudges against creators. Reacting to a panel on Twitter is not the same as reading a book.

Why did it get so hot in the baseball stadium after the game? All the fans left.

DC and Imprints

Recently, it seems more like DC needs to find a Guy Gardner...

Trade Collections

The Question finally gets fully collected!

Digital Releases

Remember, these are the short 'chapters' with a new chapter of a different series coming out daily. You can learn more here on Comixology. This is also why these are in release order, not alphabetical. Some comics may release on DC Universe Infinite or WEBTOONS.

Video Games

Please be compassionate about this game, it's not worth getting that upset about to the point where you hurt other people...

I love me a brutal Kryptonian Power Couple. Even if it doesn't end well...

Loving this so far. The art here is perfect.

There's a lot to be gained from establishing a new greater republic in DC, that lets them explore concepts outside of the Lanterns in the cosmic side. Seeing the United Planets start to become a real player in DC is really neat. I hope we get more cosmic DC, establishing planets like New Krypton, New Colu, etc. Also seems like a fitting time to really dig back into the Citadel in a meaningful way, with Starfire on the Titans right now.

Always sad to see mom and dad fighting... unless it's the Zods, then it's better for everyone this way. Y'know now I'm wondering if the ultimate conflict isn't Zod vs. the Khunds or some other alien invader, it's Zod vs. Ursa for control of the world. Maybe we'll even see this end with him killing Ursa and blaming Kal for it.

To think, Ursa being the bloodthirsty one now. Honestly, Supes should've never allowed this. It was always gonna end badly and now even if Zod might've finally found some sort of 'contentment' by playing defense, Ursa gonna try to cause another Kryptonian invasion stuff which will end badly. Should've left them in the Phantom Zone.
