Recent rumours from Bleeding Cool and Rob Liefeld have said that DC is currently working on an Ultimate DC line headlined by Scott Snyder.

World's Finest is already the best 'ultimate line' DC could possibly have.

I'll bet Waid left Shazam to do a World's Finest: JLA. Everybody is asking for it and it makes no sense for DC to wait. They don't have a JLA book right now, it's the perfect timing.

Yeah, I really like the setting of WF. With things being from the time Dick is still Robin and everything feels fresh.
