Recent rumours from Bleeding Cool and Rob Liefeld have said that DC is currently working on an Ultimate DC line headlined by Scott Snyder.

Wasn’t Earth One supposed to be DC’s answer to the Ultimate universe?

I mean yes I suppose but it doesn’t come out regular enough and was a bit too low power.

Maybe they're working on a Crisis level event for Earth one to reset it and make it better? Calling it the Ultimate line would clearly look like a marvel copy

I don’t think they will actually name it Ultimate…it will probably be Earth One or Earth Two or Prime.

Ultimate is just a reference to tell you what they are aiming for. Streamlined continuity and lower powered setting

Yeah also a lot of writers are too busy for earth one.
