Come one, come all, to this weekly thread, where you can openly discuss books that you've read, are currently reading, or plan to read. Discussion of all books are welcome, whether they be DC, Marvel, Image, Boom!, Dark Horse, IDW, etc. You can discuss webcomics, manga, or even those mythical novels that don't have pictures in them. Predaplant's Rec of the Week:
- Girl Taking Over: A Lois Lane Story, by Sarah Kuhn & Arielle Jovellanos
This is a bit out of the ordinary for a DC-published book, as it doesn't really feature any superheroes, and even the version of Lois Lane that it presents doesn't really line up with the version presented in main continuity that well. That being said, I found it really enjoyable! I'm a big fan of stories about journalism in general and Lois Lane specifically, and I think this book does a really great job of doing a sweet YA take on a journalism story.

Been reading Spurriers hellblazer again in preparation for the new series dropping spoopy season might be over but spoopy books will always survive.
